In order to respond to the changing epidemiology of HIV/AIDS and updated evidence on monitoring and intervention, and to ensure an effective use of funding, the ATF has been providing financial support for AIDS prevention and support services on a programme / project basis.
Nevertheless, the Council has introduced the 3-year programme funding mechanism since 2003 to enhance sustainability of quality activities. The applicant can submit a fresh application after the project period. Funding would be considered for applications with justifications on continued public health needs and demonstration of good past performance, etc.
