Application: Creating AIDS Vocabulary in Hong Kong Sign Language - Cornerstone for HIV Prevention in the Deaf Community

Applicant: The Hong Kong Association of the Deaf
Objectives: The aims of this project are:
  1. to create the HIV Vocabulary Set in Hong Kong Sign Language (HKSL);
  2. to provide a HIV education program for the Deaf, Blind and People with Physical Disabilities targeting their special needs; and
  3. to set up the barrier free VCT services for the Deaf, Blind and People with Physical Disabilities in Hong Kong.
